On his jackass blog Uncle Normie admits that the business of credit repair itself is not illegal, like other businesses, there are legal guidelines that a credit repair organization must follow in the operation of its business. Just like you would expect a restaurant to follow certain health guidelines.

However, less than ethical operators in the credit repair business like Uncle Normie and his jackass blog, John Gliha, Bud Hibbs, etc, purposely deny they are in the credit repair business, with the sole intent of circumventing laws that regulate their credit repair business.

For example, Credit Repair Organizations Act
states that a jackass blog cannot charge up front for its services.
